Comment on "extraordinary" Trump letter
Aberdeenshire councillor Martin Ford has commented on the letter sent yesterday to councillors and many others by Donald Trump.

Cllr Ford
said: "We have become used to absurd, exaggerated and downright untrue
claims from Donald Trump, but this letter is an over-the-top rant even
by his standards.
"Initially
it was thought the letter might be a spoof - someone sending up Mr
Trump. Sadly, it appears to be genuine. This really is what Mr Trump
thinks.
"It is an extraordinary letter to send to the First Minister - or indeed to anyone else.
"The First Minister might now be regretting his previous support
for Mr Trump. It's a pity Mr Salmond wasn't more sceptical when Mr Trump
was making his ridiculous boasts five years ago."
Cllr Martin Ford is an independent councillor and a member of the Scottish Green Party.
